Audio Drama Podcasts I Follow
Jun. 12th, 2022 02:31 pmRecently, I have picked up podcasts again as something to listen to in the background. I love sf&f, comedy and horror. I prefer the episodes to be short (<1 hour). I'm really intimidated by catching up with massive backlog, so I have given up on the Hidden Almanac. I prefer self-contained episodes or podcasts no longer than a season. My hearing isn't very good, so transcripts and good sound quality are preferred.
Podcasts I have listened to:
The Silt Verses: The Premise: Two followers of an outlawed god travel rural lands in an attempt to find miracles and workings of their god. It exists in a world where consumerism and religion have melded, and where belief begets existence in many ways, whether you want it to or not.

OBSIDIAN: "a speculative fiction podcast based in Afrofuturism. Driven by a deep, untapped interest in science fiction, we desire to take hold of the narratives nearest to us. By Adetola Abdulkadir and Safiyah Cheatam"

Margaret’s Garden: "After a strange blackout, Two agents are sent to investigate the abandoned town Everton where everyone vanishes in a night 70 years ago, but they find themselves transported to another world entirely, where they’ll find out what actually happened to the townsfolk. Cosmonauts, Dishonored Kings, Strange Creatures and more await Agents Washington and Harris, as they venture into Margaret’s Garden."

LAKESHORE & LIMBO: "an improvised Occult-Noir story, told using the rules of the Freeform Universal tabletop roleplaying game system."

The Infinite Now: "an endlessly expanding omniverse of written and audio material based on transmissions from outside of time sent by a mysterious entity known as The Timescanner"
